Tasting Note:
This is a classic Aussie Cabernet with an intense varietal nose and delicious ripe fruit. This wine is named after Sparky, who earned money to put himself through winemaking college as a left-handed Maitre D'.Grapes:
The grapes were grown on the Longbottom vineyard in Padthaway, the Mollydooker vineyards in McLaren vale and the Belladarren vineyard in Langhorne Creek.What to eat with:
Pairs with Chicken liver pat, duck, roast lamb, mushroom risotto, veal, quail and pork.Analysis
