2011 Rose

2011 Rose

Tasting Note:

This refreshing style Rose was made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes, grown on our family owned vineyard. The vibrant pink colour resulted from leaving juice in contact with its skins overnight prior to a gentle whole bunch press. The juice was fermented in stainless steel to retain the varietal and fruit characteristics. The wine shows delightful aromas and flavours of strawberries and cream, with hints of peaches, raspberries and rose petals.

Independents Note:

The nose has a floral charm quite light but fragrant. The raspberry and mulberry mix on the start of the palate is fresh but behind are richer flavours more red cherry in character. The finish is fresh quite light with an appealing mix of fragrances. Derek Smedley MW 91 points

When to drink:

A perfect summer aperitif and is best served chilled.
