The importance of striving towards the implementation of eco-friendly practices within the production and distribution of wine is gaining considerable momentum and is an issue which all our producers consider a high priority. This is no longer purely an ethical issue; the ability for our producers to demonstrate measurable green credentials which have a quantifiable environmental benefit is fast becoming a pre-requisite for doing business.
At Seckford Agencies we take this issue very seriously and are proud to be running our own business with a strong commitment to minimising our environmental impact. Based in a rural environment on the Suffolk/Essex border our office is part of an organic farm and livery stables which provides a natural habitat for a diverse variety of wildlife including badgers, deer, owls and bats.
Our water is recycled into a man made lake and the wetland area of the farm provides a home and breeding ground for Herons.
Some of our team walk or cycle to the office and we actively encourage home working to minimise unnecessary travel.
We also recycle all our glass, paper, plastic and print cartridges.
