Bremerton Vintners winemaking and viticultural practices are conducted with minimal environmental impact as a key outcome. We are committed to ensuring our resources (e.g. soil and water) and final wine products are used and made with minimal intervention and long term sustainable vision.Organic / Biodynamic
We are not registered as Organic wine producers, but we are conscious of environmental impact and use minimal input methods in the vineyard. We do not use any fining methods on the red wine production. A small percentage of our white wine production is fined with pvpp which is synthetic therefore all reds and whites from Bremerton/Matilda Plains are suitable for vegans and vegetarians.Water Conservation policies
A 'zero footprint' water initiative is being introduced whereby the vineyard surrounding the Matilda Plains winery will only be watered by treated winery waste water, via a man-made wetland that will also be habitat for local wildlife.
