australia

For several successive years, Australia has overtaken France as the biggest exporter of wine to the UK. Many of the original vines were planted by German immigrants in the 19th century and remarkably the industry has achieved its aims of global prominence in less than 20 years, mainly through accessible fruit-forward wines. Single varietal Aussie wines usually do what they say on the tin, in contrast to the often obscure European labels. At the same time their super-efficient methods of production set a global benchmark.

Amongst others, we are proud to represent:

Pikes Clare Valley, South Australia: classic Riesling and stylish red blends

Hollick Coonawarra, South Australia: benchmark Coonawarra Cabernet, red blends and very stylish Chardonnay

Rolf Binder Barossa Valley, South Australia: Shiraz and Shiraz blends plus Dry Riesling from Eden Valley
