Sourced from selected blocks from Belhara's vineyard in the appellation of Tupungato, Valle de Uco at an altitude of 1200m.
The Amayan 2017 is a dark ruby colour. The nose has elegant aromas of spice combined with floral notes, while on the palate raspberry and mulberry combine with a sense of minerality and freshness.
TIME IN OAK
Grapes were hand harvested in selected blocks between 2nd and 8th April. Alcoholic fermentation and extended maceration on skins took place for 20-30 days in small tanks. The wine was then aged in French oak barrels (Mercurey Tonnellerie) for 12 months with gentle racking.
