Vintage conditions

The 2016 growing season was close to perfect with mild dry weather producing excellent fruit. The mild season allowed a longer ripening period which resulted in good flavours and better balance.

Vinification details

The vines were machine harvested in the middle of February. Once transported to the winery the grapes were crushed and de-stemmed before fermentation in stainless steel tanks with regular pumpovers. The wine came into contact with French and American oak for 12 months.
