This is a classic Aussie Cabernet with an intense varietal nose and delicious ripe fruit.
This wine is named after Sparky, who earned money to put himself through winemaking college as a left-handed Maitre D'.
The grapes were grown on the Longbottom vineyard in Padthaway, the Mollydooker vineyards in McLaren vale and the Belladarren vineyard in Langhorne Creek.
What to eat with:
Pairs with Chicken liver paté, duck, roast lamb, mushroom risotto, veal, quail and pork.
Barrel fermented and matured in 77% American and 33% French oak using 49% new and 51% one year old barrels.
