Tasting note
The 'Steytler Vision' is Kaapzicht's Cape Blend. 48% Cabernet Sauvignon exudes power, length and structure while our endemic Pinotage (51%) creates a uniquely South African feel. 1% gentle Merlot fruit binds it all together. The aptly named Steytler Vision is the realization of Danie Snr’s innovation and craftsmanship.
Vinification details
The three cultivars were vinified and aged separately in small French oak barrels for 28 months, personally selected by the winemaker, and then blended together.

Power and concentration are immediately evident, within a tightly-woven structure showing lots of promise. Generous cassis and blackberries as well as vanilla and spice from oak. Complex and multi-dimensional, those who can resist the temptation will be rewarded well with cellaring. 50% Pinotage; 35% Cabernet Sauvignon; 15% Merlot.
